Gibsons Public Art Gallery
Known as “the liveliest gallery on the coast”, the GPAG exhibits beautiful and thought-provoking work from both local and international artists. It also hosts lectures, art classes and live performances. It’s one of many galleries and artists’ studios that populate the city of Gibsons.
Gibsons Landing and Marina
Gibsons Landing and Marina is one of the must-see places in the Sunshine Coast. Known as the "Gateway to the Sunshine Coast," it is where most visitors from Vancouver travelling to the area initially arrive. Enjoy a stroll along the pier, sample delicious food and check out the amazing artwork and dedicated gift shops.
Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives
This community-driven heritage destination chronicles the history of the Sunshine coast and its residents throughout the years. It features two floors of exhibits along with a resource room, reference library and archives with over 9000 photos and documents. The museum is frequently host to workshops, screenings and special events.
Persephone Brewing Company
Situated on an 11-acre farm, this world renowned micro-brewery produces some of the finest craft beer in the province. They grow their own hops and use eco-friendly brewing methods—what’s not to like? Stop by for a taste or contact the brewery to schedule a tour of the facility.

Sunshine Coast Kayaking, Fishing and Sailing Tours

Hiking, Biking and Spectacular Scenery
Soames Hill trails are some of the most popular and accessible trails in the Gibsons area. White Tower Park is located right behind the Gibsons Garden Hotel and is another great spot for nature walks through idyllic trails and ponds. Take a 12-minute drive to nearby Roberts Creek to hike the picturesque trails of Cliff Gilker Park which features one of the area’s most spectacular waterfalls.

BC Bike Race | Early July
Some of the world’s best mountain bikers in the world make their way to the Sunshine Coast every July to compete in the BC Bike Race, an intense and fiercely competitive single track race. More than 500 bikers will participate—do you have what it takes?
Sunshine Coast Golf Club Tournaments
This picturesque course in Roberts Creek is host to several annual tournaments and events for both amateur and professional golfers, including the Sunshine Coast Amateur in August and the Fall Mixed Member Scramble in November.
