If you are planning on visiting Gibsons to see the Sunshine Coast there is plenty to do this fall. We have a list of hidden gems that are sure to make your trip an unforgettable one that you will be daydreaming about long after.

The Great Outdoors

Gibsons offers some of the best of nature that you could find in British Columbia. If you are planning on visiting in the early fall and are a big fan of hiking make sure to visit the Sunshine Coast Trail. If you are visiting a bit later in the season you might be interested in snowshoeing in Tetrahedron Provincial Park or Dakota Ridge to see the beautiful alpine forests.

There are plenty of other outdoor activities as well, one of our favourites is all of the great kayaking you can do while in Gibsons. There are also a series of parks that are great for mountain biking. A few of our favourites include the Coast Gravity Park and Sprockids Mountain Bike Park.

Enjoying the Arts

If you are a big fan of art, visiting Gibsons in the fall is a great option for you. This fall the Sechelt Arts Festival will be happening October 4-20. There will be a focus on fusion and the festival will be integrating a mix of music, dancing genres, and cultures. The festival will be displaying a range of workshops, exhibits and stage events. This is an amazing experience that is unique to the Sunshine Coast.
