BC BIKE RACE

Gibsons is surrounded by beautiful, dark blue water and lush green forests – and there’s no better way to experience it than on a bike.

Every year, over 500 riders from dozens of countries come to Gibsons to experience some of the best single track, cross country trails in the world.  On July 5^th – 13^th, riders will blaze through incredibly tight, impossibly beautiful tracks trying to beat each other’s times and achieve new personal bests. And whether you’re a rider looking to test yourself, or just a spectator, watching some of the world’s top athletes compete for the gold, this is sure to be a pulse pounding experience.  Check out the details here.
 

SEA CAVALCADE

For over 45 years, Gibsons has been celebrating its close relationship to the sea with the Sea Cavalcade, a family festival full of fun activities, food, music and more.  Featuring pancake breakfasts, a low pressure walk or run race, a classic car display, face painting, a salmon BBQ , a fishing derby, fireworks and plenty more to see and do, the Sea Cavalcade is the best of family entertainment.
